Here's an idea I came up with, let me know what you think.
3/4" tee with 1/4" cut off so I could pop it on chair leg.

1" tee will slide on the end of the 3/4" tee

or you can use an 90 deg elbow with a 1" tube cut out to hold a reod end and reel

since nothing is glued the tee's will rotate slide up and down the chair led and are removable for storage and transport ( the tee on the leg is not in the way so alows the chair to fold up with out removing it)

I believe it will be fine, I already use quit a bit of PVC for ice fishing already.

i may make a couple for ice fishing also. i loose more fish in the time it takes to get up and grab the rod. not hard to make are they. look fairly simple, any problems you had that you can give me a heads up with.

All I did was cut 1/4" off the long side, although I did need to file the middle inner edge on a couple to get them to pop on. I wanted them to be on tight so I took off as little as I needed to, to get them to go on.

I wonder if the plastic will rotate in the cold of winter or if it will just snap. i guesse you could make it in a fixed position

I take things apart and fold things up all winter so I think they should still rotate unless they got wet.

Actually this one has an extra part that is not needed, the part sticking out the front. this is with 1/2" pvvc, so all you would need is 2 t's and 2 90 deg elbows and 3 tubes or pipe around 6" long or longer if you are using longer rods for the base. The uprights I am making longer now for quicker access. The wire can be anything you can bend but will havve some stifness to it. Where the wire rest I have cut a notch and smothed it out enough so the wire will rotate easily and of course bent a U in it to hold the rod.
If you attach a piece of card stock or something to the wire a lite breeze cause the jigger to do it's "jig"

awsome thanks, there is a guy here in cache valley that makes them out of wood but he wants like 15 bucks but i figured could make a bunch of those pvc ones for that.

I like thesse cause you can get them in a bucket when you break them down. I still am working on a way so that the wire is attached to the rod and long enough so it won't go down the hole. I can reel & fight a fish with it still attached but want something going over the top of the rod so it will be secure.
