Newbie ---Texas gulf coast fisherman here

I am retired and living in Katy Tx. I love to fish anywhere anytime weather allows along the gulf coast but prefer wade fishing the bays and surf with artificials concentrating on trout and reds. My favorite time to wade fish for big trout is fast approaching. I am always eager to learn and willing to teach what i know to other fishermen. I prefer not to go alone for safety reasons. I am 52 years old and in good health. I am a die-hard fisherman however hunting does get in the way sometimes.
