Newton fishing saturday

I went to Newton on saturday, and was fishing from the shore. I came about the same time last year and had unbelievably good luck. The fish were doing okay at stealing my bait, but were too smart to get hooked Anyways, I switched gears and cast a perch patterned rapala to see what happened. I caught what must have been a small musky, but it escaped before I could take a closer look.

Thanks for posting your report Bob, too bad the catching wasn't better, better luck next time. What were you catching last year, when the catching was so good?

Perch and lots of them, though I did hook into a pretty big musky that gave me the surprise of my life!
