Steelhead colors. I've just been wondering. Mine is black and red styles in different patterns and green head and mauve maribou . I also like to try all the colors as you can see in the last 2 pics.

i use alot of skunks like your second picture, with red and green tails. i do well with a light pink wooly, all black wooly, my favorite fly is a wooly with red marabou, black hackel over some black with red sparkle chennille. but i love to add tinsel into all of mine. i just bought some stuff to make floating jigs i am hoping i can use them without a corkie hoping the head will work like a corkie i realy think that most corkies are a bit bigger than i like to use. but a jig head size is perfect. i cant wait for them to arive it sounds pretty cool you pour these small beads into a mold and dip your mold into hot water and they expand.

I like red and various shades of it. Chartreuse in off color water sometimes or a little if the water is clear. A fly that was in the Post Register a few years ago worked well that was black or red (woolly bugger type) and had white rubber legs. I haven't experimented much with purple. I like the red butt skunk. Those foam beads for a head sound like a neat idea.
