swap meet?

first post. just joined. trying to find out if Big Fish is going to sponsor another swap meet like the one in Oct?

Welcome to the site Elreytut, BFT covers every state and some countries, so it is hard for us to know where you are unless you tell us. Each state has it's own moderator, so we work on different events at different times. Do you know the name of the moderator that was involved in this swamp meet? WH2

ty for the reply. i did not know that big fish was national. i'm in los angeles. fish saltwater for the most part. Norm's Big Fish tackle was a sponsor. maybe i'm in the wrong place? but i'm up for anything fishing related, so i'll stay and observe. bob

I'll check and find out but I believe that the store your talking about was were BFT started many years ago. If it is, that store is where the owner of this site got his start and I believe it was a tackle site then. Now it is just an on line fishing forum. If this store that you are talking about is West of the LA area, by the beach, then it is the same store and it is very likely that they were doing their own swap meet that is not related to the site. We do have several moderators from the Cal board that might give you some more info about it, in the mean time here is a link to the Cal board were you can get started.

I stopped by the store today and they said there would be another Swap meet either the first or the second week in Dec.Do you need their phone number?

ty for the update. in the meantime i'd called the store and they gave me the same information. hopefully they'll email me the exact date in dec. i started collecting iron jigs local to socalif, and its been incredible. sooooooooooo many diff jigs/manufacturers.

They ask me today if I wanted to get on to their Email list so they could contact me when they have the date. Since I don't live down here I declined but they sounded like they would let you know if you wanted them to.
