it was cold cold cold. the bite was fast when i first got there but i couldnt hook them i missed four fish in the first half hour then i caught a pretty nice rainbow around 1:00 ish then it went dead no bites for an hour and a half so we packed up and decided to go see if we could nail some perch at robert gravel pond we got there and started out in about 4 ft of water no bites for a half hour so we moved to deeper water right around 6 or 7 feet then we started getting bites i kept getting the perch to hit and couldnt hook them finally i got lucky and hooked one and then i found out why i couldnt hook them it was the smallest perch i have ever caught litterly like a fingureling from a hatchery it was really really small even for roberts i landed one more perch just like the other one. then my buddy caught a really nice rainbow for roberts it was about a 1lb 1/2 then i landed a descent bow also a storm started moving in and it got cold as all heck so we packed up around 4:00 and headed home i got pictures but im procrastinating posting the pics cause the cold is took a lot out of me today so im beat im in my pajamas already and got my pillow.

Thanks for the report...sounds like you need a ice shelter..I bought one of the quick pop-up ones from Sportsman's last year. Worth every penny. What's also cool is the fact that you can see down the ice hole when the shelter is zipped up( the entire floor glows)...pretty cool watching the fish take your bait.

my ice fishing buddy fishdicked has one we use it all the time he couldnt go sunday but i wasnt going to let that stop me. he has a green eskimo one
