Took my 5 year old daughter out to Rigby lake yesterday for an hour or so. She only caught one fish but she had a blast watching the fish under the ice. The ice was so clear inside the shelter that you could watch the fish swimming around under your chair. We got a lot of action from the fish but they would only peck at the jigs couldn't get them to take a good bite. Took a little video, but its a fairly big file, don't try it with dial up.

I watched the video and it seemed to download just fine. Only took about 30 seconds tops to download. Looks like fun. Can't wait to take my daughter out to do something like that. Maybe she will be ready next year.

I am pretty sure that since that video originated in Jefferson County it is filled with voodoo and danger. I actually tried to download despite the obvious warning signs, but only got a magical aura on my media player. Oh well at least i wasn't exposed to any mind tricks from Jefferson County.

Yeah, I tried two different players. The Media player gave me pretty swirly lines and the girl talking. The other player wouldn't even attempt it.

If windows media player won't play it, its becuase your version of media player is missing a codec. You can google window media player codec downloads. The camera I used is a Flip Video and they have thier own video format that needs a special codec in order to play them. Codec downloads are free but make sure its from a trusted site. You can find out the exact codec you are missing, when you try and play the video on the right hand side of media player it will have the name of the file with a red x next to it, click on that x and it will tell you more info about the error, and the name of the codec you need.

Or to save you some hassle I uploaded the video to Utube. It is not quite as good of quality but it works.

Very cool video, but it is your daughter who makes it!! She sounds like a real cutie! There is nothing better than kids and fishing. Mike

Is rigby lake the same as jefferson lake? I saw a thing on the website for the outdoor segment of the news. The story said they planted banana trout there. It was from spring of 08.
