i was up there last week and the ice was 8 inches and the fishing was a little slow.

Ice is good and thick - at least a foot. My son and I went yesterday targeting trout and managed to coax a few on to the ice. Good luck and bundle up. It's cold out...

I and a buddy weant yesterday as well. 1 lousy bite and in 2 1/2 hrs we saw 3 fish caught around us was all. Ice was a good foot thick.

Whatever they were biting on they weren't biting yellow or white jigs with wax worms on 'em.
