Came across this site looking at portable shelters, looks awesome. I'm in North Bay, Ontario, mostly fish Lake Nipissing in the winter. Summertime I kayak fish, have two Hobie mirage drives and an Emotion Fisherman Pro.

Yup, done SoCal, fished the Santa Monica pier. Do Siesta Key now. Got home from work last night, blew snow for an hour (man my lips are cold). Was -22 C last night, -30 C with the wind chill. [cool]

Boy it sure looks cold in that picture. Don't know if I would want to trade the 76º that we had today in SoCal.[/#008000]
Welcome to the site HobiePat, here is a link to our ice fishing board: http://www.bigfishtackle.com/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=4
It looks like that ice you are fishing on is pretty thick, I'm guessing it was over a 12"? Do you get a lot of folks fishing in the same area when you are out on the ice like that?

No, where I fish there is not another shack for about a mile in any direction. That was two years ago, on Wednesday I was out testing the ice on my atv and we have about 10" right now. I am working all weekend but will be out Monday killing perch and any unfortunate walleye, pike or whitefish that try to steal my Gulp. The herring I'll let live. [cool]
