Went up to causey sunday morning, got there at about 7am.. Fishing was fast from right when i dropped my line down till we left at 2:30pm.. Caught about 50 between 2 of us, and a couple of nicer sized trout.. 1 nice splake and 1 nice tiger..

That's a good size for causey. From what I can see on the DWR's website they haven't stocked them in there since 2007

From the fish I've caught and seen this year ice fishing at causey, I'm sure there's some monster splake in there..

I got my arse handed to me at causey today. Fished the north finger up and down all day and landed 2 midget bows! I had holes all over the place and just kept making my rounds every hour or so.
I caught more in an hour and a half saturday evening.
Glad to see someone can catch a fish there!! I'm not givin up tho! Nice lookin fish!

Aye.
I drove the road to the south and it's pretty bad even w/o much recent snow. I think next time I head up there I will park at the dam and spend half a day out in the main part and another half back in the south sides.

Nice post! We were up there yesterday as arrived at seven departed at two. Caught 25 fish between the two of us every species mostly bows, some tigers, a few splake, 1 native cutt (what beautiful fish they are and they always go back), and one koke that was the only one that went home for din din.
