Hello, guys! Really need your help.
Fishing at Sporsmen's Park near Aberdeen last Sunday we found pure breed female labrador dog approximately 9 months old.She was starving and dirty. We took her home. She is a gorgeous creature, very well house trained, and behaves very well for her age. She had no collar or electronic chip on. I could bring her to the animal shelter, but I would like to find a good home for the beautiful dog. Give me a call 251-1794 Larisa or write me an e-mail. Sorry if it is off-top,but please don't delete this post for a couple days. Thanks

A lab found us camping this past summer, at Onieda Narrows, he was also starving and dirty, no chip or colar. After posting and putting flyers all over the Preston area, with no response,we decieded to keep him. Problem was we were in an apartment that didn't allow dogs. So we bought a house. No BS! Most expensive dog I have ever owned[:p], but to this day i can't figure out why someone would have abandon him. He came fully trained with some indication he was trained to hunt as well. Good luck finding her a home...I don't understand how someone could do that to a dog.

I'm a sucker for a lab and Avery needs his own dog. I'll shoot you a PM and see if we can't make arrangements.
Thanks,
Rod

Hey LauraS,
Avery would love to have a lab and I'd like to see if we can't adopt her from you. We live in Boise but I have no problem coming and getting her. I'm off next week Sat-Tues so what ever works for you guys. I'm working at night right now but I will try and call you tomorrow afternoon. My home number is 208/362-1422.
Thanks,
Rod

Thanks for the offer to help but I think I'll just drive over Sat afternoon and pick her up. I can't wait to see Avery's reaction.

We drove down and picked up "Zoey" on Saturday. Avery had her named by the time we got home. Sunday went up to the cabin and just got back. Avery and Zoey had a blast playing in the snow. She's a good girl and seems to be real smart. Here are a few pic's of her.

I hope your trip was good Larisa. Yes Zoey is doing great and becoming part of our family. She's a good girl and learns very quick. Her and Avery are buds. Seems like a hunter also. She spends the first hour of the day watching the geese in the field. She wants them so bad but doesn't move or bark, just shakes. I can't wait for next hunting season. I'll post some new pictures next week.
