Checked water temp on way home from work today and at the inlets to mud lake Water temp at boat ramp is 44 degree and other inlet 45 to 46 degeree Talked to someone who told me a fella took an 7 to 8 pound Eye earlier today Spawn should start soon

Would this area be on the lake or on one of the tribs coming into the lake. Because i think the tribs are closed until May?

Hell no i am not from spanish fork and I was not fishing I was taking water temp. so as for Thin gray line tell it to all the other people fishing there not me[bobhappy][bobhappy]

I asked a CO about this very issue a couple of years ago. He said he doesn't issue tickets for fishing there while tribs are closed.

I think if it were illegal to fish there right now, that would probably only be the second or third most illegal/trashy/despicable thing going on back there at any given time. The amount of trash left behind by "sportsman" there is second to none.

I like it to launch my duck boat there in the fall I have never fished there I live in Northern Utah county west Desert. I was just stopping after work to check water temp in there I have never cought a Eye out of the lake only one i have cought was out of jordan river in saratoga springs. Went back there to see how many people were fishing there Thursday night after work and there was back to back fisherman along the shore line and a sherrif Deputy wandering around.
