I went to Utah lake today with a freind left at 8:30 to bike down there we finally got there and 8:50 we fished at the mouth of the river and up to the bridge didnt get a single bite![img]../../../images/gforum/bobmad.gif[/img] darn fish[:/] and the breeze made it seem alot colder then it was haha . we fished with jigs and cranks

You should probably clarify where you were. Too many folks on here that think they are the self appointed fishing police.
Here, I will help. Provo river is legal to fish from the lake to the bridge at the park entrance. It is the only exception to the river closure during Walleye spawn.
There you go. Now you wont have fifty posts telling you that you were fishing illegal and" how dare you break the law like that".

As others have mentioned...UL is a tough one because of the on off weather. Glad you got out tho...any day on the water is a good one. They should want to play soon...but it looks like bad weather again for next week....well see.
