Crappie disappeared?
#1
[frown]
2 years ago the Mississippi flooded a certain drainage ditch I like to fish.
I haven't caught a Crappie there since. The ditch is now full of carp, both regular & asian. Could they have push the crappie out? Would I be worth it the sink some brush?

Hi Kevin
With it flooding it sounds like it changed the current in there or something the structure where they feed. Maybe they'll be back. If you can get out there with a fish finder use it to see how deep it is and if there is any structure left in there. If there is no structure think about putting some back with useing christmass trees or some other type of branches.

Hey Kevin, Everything I've heard about places were Asaian carp have moved in is bad, I tink you will have to relie on your know nowhow to figure out where the flood might have moved the crappies. Find the next close waterway and try to get them by the wood. Slip bobber and small minow, Good Luck [fishin][fishin]
