hello just introducing myself my name is chris i am from the seattle area but now live in las vegas i am an avid fisherman, before my relocation i would target all saltwater species in my area, but now in the desert southwest my main target is warm water fish and stocked trout. i'm taking a special interest in carp fishing. this season so far i have landed numerous trout from sunset park, 3 lmb from sunset park 1.5lb 2.0lb and 3.5lbs and a 5.0lb carp from sunset park, 4 stripers 1-2lbs, 1 carp, and a 2.5lb lmb from lake mead, 0 fish from willow beach. i look forward to getting to know people here and reading posts. this forum looks to have great info here, i'm always looking to learn new techniques and to share my own. tight lines ~chris

welcome! since your in vegas you might want to think about taking the jaunt over to lake powell in southern UT, and sand hollow and quail near St George also!

Hi SynCity,
I've seen you over the Nevada board and it's good to see your checking out the rest of the forums. There's lots of great info on the general boards to read when the NV board is slow. Sunset Park is a good urban pond where you can target a few different species in one small area, as you've discovered. Perhaps we'll cross path over there this season [fishin]
