fished the canyon today and i have a new favorite fishing spot! aside from the gorgeous scenery, there was a great mayfly hatch the rainbows were gorging on! i only had two slate colored flies to match, and once they were both shredded i started throwing griffiths gnats and they worked just as well if not better! did have to make some "far and fine" casts though, that water is crystal and they will spook from a long ways off
