Introduction

Hi I'm ArchAngel84043. I live in Lehi, Utah and generally fish the waters within about 4 hours of my house. I'm a trout fisher mostly, lots of good trout fisheries in Utah. But looking to get into the BASS arena (other pan/sunfish too). Any tips tricks or advice for good Bass fishing would be very appreciative. Have fun Hookin' 'Em.

will do... being "wiperhunter" got any tips for me i'm making my first trip to Willard this weekend, not taking the boat cuz we're camping but bringing my float tube, hopefully will see some boils. But want to also get my oldest boy (5) catching some bluegill and crappie too. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.[bobWink]

If your after gills you need to head to Mantua, few if any in Willard. No boils this year, that I've head of at least. Most folks have been doing ok for crappie and a few wipers just off the shore by the camp ground at the north marina. If you fishing from a tube you might be in luck fishing under a bobber with small crappie jigs or cast out and reel in as you bounce your jig along the bottom. We caught a few with this method a few weeks back, using a glup power minnow. Well I need to get to bed,I'm leaving for a trip myself in a few hours. Good luck and let us know how you do.
