Hello everyone, my name is Jay.
I'm glad I was able to come across these boards!

You could say I'm new to fishing. Although, my family in Australia was always fishing, I was never really serious about it until recently. I'm now currently living in CA. To make a long story short: my little brother bought an angling video game; I tried it; got addicted to the concept... and now I'm here... trying to get properly acquainted with the sport. I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to all the gear.

I've visited a few lakes and reservoirs in the past month, and still have no luck landing my first fish. I'm determined to catch my first LM Bass, so I'm going to be doing a lot of research until I can get it all right. Hopefully I'll get lucky one day. I'm sure I'll be able to learn a lot here!
