Did anyone try to make something to be able to use
the stripping apron In Scaddens frame boat? Not the
lean bar apron. The sitting down (waist) apron.
Im thinking of making some kinda arm rests and try to
attach it to that............[crazy]
I ordered both tipe of apron. For now I have the waist
apron.
Any ideas, please.

Peter, we don't even use an apron. It's more of a pain in the )( than it's worth. It takes a bit to get used to no apron, but not that much.

Like mojo said, no apron, but a wading apron like a William Joseph could be nice. Wear it like a belt. It is right there while seated, but you can stand up and it will still be there.
You CAN also use the half moon one on your lap as well.
I just use my standing deck and of course the half moon when standing.

I guess I just have to try it without apron one time and see what happens.
I like to make long casts sometimes which means a lot
of line out in the apron.
I love the apron in my Super Fat Cat, works great. So I was hoping to have something like that in the new boat.

Works just fine except windy days, but them the aprons aren't any better. I sort of strip to my left side, so it just slides down by the seat and lays on the standing deck.

I see. Now, lets say that you want to shoot out like 60 feet
on line. (bass fishing). It way get caught on something.

Hummm haven't noticed any hang up. I can usually fix any little loop or whatever during the false cast.
I have had to shoot allot of line like at Hebgen on the gulper action.
