HUGE LMB at Pineview...RIP
#1
I went up to Pineview this morning to try my luck. Caught probably 10-15 smallies in the 8"-12" range. Nothing spectacular, but it was fun. However, I did come across an interesting find. As I was making my way down the shoreline, I saw a dead fish on the bank. From a distance, and judging by the size, I assumed it was some dead carp. WRONG. I had stumbled upon the final resting place of the biggest largemouth bass I had ever seen outside of an aquarium or television. I'm not sure what the exact measurement on the old guy was, but I snapped a picture of it with my rod next to him so you could get an idea what size this thing was. I had no idea there were any bass that size lurking in Pineview.
