The last couple of outing's in my FC4 the seat tend's to collapse inward are most of them like this? Is there a place where I can order new foam, it seems like it's not stiff enough. I'm 6'0 205 or so. The first time I used it I don't remeber it doing this. Or the new fat cat just ruined it for me...[:/]

[cool][#0000ff]That foam does "fatigue" over time...but should not do so for a long time. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Just a question. Do you have the 2 foam parts in side to side or front to back? Should be side to side for maximum rigidity. They fit both ways.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Another option is to get a piece of heavy plexiglas or even plywood and put it under the foam...between the foam and the pocket. Amazing what a little extra support will do. Just cut the material to fit the space allotted and slide it in place before airing the tube up to the max.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Last option is to buy an inflated seat replacement. You can get either foam or inflated from Outcast or other places who sell parts and accessories. The inflated seat can be aired up until it completely fills the bottom seat pocket firmly and will give you a way better float.[/#0000ff]

Like TD said check to see if the foam was in there right. Next, was the tube inflated to the right level? I know if I blow mine up early in the morning I am good all day. If I blow it up in the heat of the day and put it into cool water it will sag and the sides will roll in. Check the seat panels and remember to keep you pump handy. Ron

I don't know if it really makes a difference, but I turn my foam seat over and rotate the pieces occasionally front to back.
I agree also with Ron --- if your sides aren't inflated fully it will sag in.
Or like TD said, "Add some stiffener in there."

TD, right now the front to back i'll try them side by side. I was also thinking about puting a piece of woodunder neath but was unsure of that idea I might have to give it a try. If the im unhappy with the out come i'll just order the inflated able seat. Thank's for the help.

Could be a slow leak or not going to proper inflation pressure in some cases, see above post on leak detector...

idahoron,
The tube usually feel's like it's inflated proper nice and firm but not rock hard. I did notice everytime I inflate the tube on the sand when it's nice and warm, then take it out on the water (usually 59-62) It get's softer and I add a lil more air. Thank's for the help.

You want them front to back. You go side to side and you will definitely drop in the middle.
I prefer the inflatable myself.
