Kali and I decided to take a drive to the 1000 Springs area last Wednesday. After quickly limiting out at one of the area lakes, we headed over to the state hatchery. Since there has been much talk on this site lately about yellow trout, took a picture of one of the raceways containing mature yellows. Are you aware that they also discovered a blue trout? Mike

I can't wait until next year when the yellow trout at sandcreek are bigger. They should be a lot of fun.

They just dumped a huge load of bannana trout in Sandcreek, but they are very small like 5-7." They should grow fast in there and be a decent size when it opens up next summer. Are bananna and yellow trout the same thing?

We call them albino trout in utah. They stock them at the Dams up logan canyon, they are great for the kids to catch. I remember getting pretty excited about them when I was a kid. I also remember that they did not taste very good!!!
