Had a very good day at the Lake today. My son landed 2 big Macs. One was 10 pounds and the other was 7 pounds. We had to keep the 7 pounder as we was not able to revive it. He lost another one but his inexperience showed as he let the fish break his line. I really think it was bigger than the 10 pounder but we will never know. We caught about 10 fish total today

Sounds like you had good day on the big blue, were you jigging or trolling. I have wanting to get back over again but I've been doing too much deer hunting.

Were you trolling or Jigging. How deep were you fishing and what areas?

We were trolling the east side. I did take some cisco to jig but trolling worked out just fine. My down rigger was down 60-65 feet most of the day. My transducer refused to work for me so I had to wing it all day long.

Wish my kid would fish with me....
I too was out fishing off cisco beach area, may have talked or waved hello to you??
I ended the day early after 5 mac's, smoked my arms reeling the riggers and rods. pic of my bigger one attached, and yes it went back for others to enjoy. i hate the taste of trout but they are fun to catch.
