[font "Arial"][size 2]I have finally got back to fishing. The Rivers are still well over the banks and so much freshwater from all the rains make catching fish hard.. We have got over 7 inches of rain so far this month. Hopefully the water will get better with time.

Hey there lonehunter. Love the smallmouth bass. I catch them all the time hear in Michigan. To bad I didn't know about this competition, or I'd be giving you a run for your money on that bass. At the end of June 2003, I caught a 21 inch smallmouth bass. Got my pic with it, but not along a tape measurer or with the logo. Maybe next year! [Wink]

that's a pretty good size smallie . i used to catch them at flatrock , the largest was 28 inches , i was steelhead fishing at the tail end of the run .

there's plenty of time left to get some big fish , the fall feeding frenzy is coming soon , a pike , muskey , coho , steelhead , stergon , walleye , gar , carp , all big fish to get some fast numbers up !

[mad][mad]This picture shows you what can happen when the fish decides he does not want his picture taken. It was supposed to be a 24" Pickerel that I caught from Black Lake New York, He was taken on a crappie jig in the morning about 10Am on the 16th of june 2003.

The only thing I can figure is that this pickerel was wanted by the local game warden for perch and crappie fry consumption.
