I fished devils creek saturday for about an hour and 45 minutes in the morning. I had to be home for work at 10am. I didnt want to leave but dang it i had to. Fish were biting very soft but we managed to land 18 biggest being 15 1/2 inches. It was alot of fun hopefully next time i can stay on the ice longer.

i was wanting to head up there sunday but talked my self out of it... thats twice this year i have made this mistake.... did you happen to drive by either of the other resivores that start with a D?

There was about 2 inches of frozen slush ontop of about 2 inches of good ice. I didnt get a chance to go by the other places that start with D sorry jigs.

Did you feel safe on 2" of ice ? I want to go Saturday , but I don't know about going out on 2" of ice . I have fished Henry's on 3" and had no problems . Curt G.

2" is plenty to be on if its good solid ice. I will be back out there again this saturday unless i have a death in the family then my plans might change.

I will watch for ya. I will be with my wife and 2 boys my parents are also gonna come along. I have a dark blue ice tent. Come say hi if you see us.

I plan on going tomorow as well. If my wife will let me that is... If I do go I'll be in a big red coat with black on the arms no ice tent for me... Maby some day... I'll be there with my dad as he is my only fishing partner that isn't bussy that day..
