Can anyone give me a very specific description of where the deepest water in Ben Ross Reservior is?

I take it you are referring to C. Ben Ross. I know it is a reservoir used for irrigation so the depth will vary depending on the time of year.

Try Google Earth. You can usually see the main channels in any water body. [Image: bobwink.gif]

I tried it, but I can't tell. Looks like the water has too much algae to see the deeper parts. The whole lake looks the same.

there is a channel that is out around 200 yards east/north of the dam. i know a couple years ago it was if i remember correctly around 50-60 feet deep. if you go east of the dam on the south side of the lake it kind of sweeps infront of the " arm " that goes back where that " arm " meets the lake is fairly deep as well. i fish there for bass quite a bit. i have heared there are big trout there but never tried just caught largemouth, crappie, bluegill there. sorry i can't be of more help.

The deepest part of Ben Ross is at the dam on the north -east end where the water is drawn out for irrigation.
The other end from the boat ramp. Good luck if you go try it. C.HTR
