Late Season Quail

I'm itching to shoot some quail, but have never gone out this late in the season before. Anybody here ever tried hunting quail in the snow? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

shoot em before they fly[], i was taught just that this last weekend and i came home empty handed.

Ah shoot, I never let 'em fly. That's unsportsmanlike in my book - lettin' 'em just take flight, kissing freedom, and then gunnin' 'em down!
