congrats on the license Ash. The pictures make me homesick for the gorge, Although this southern california weather is awesome. If you are ever down in the area (i am in Ontario, California now) let me know and we could hit up some salt or freshwater,

Ash, congrats on getting your captains license. You have certainly put in your time and I wish you the best of luck!! Could you define walkable ice , is that 1.5" or 2" ROFL, I've seen the ice you fish on[blush][blush] good job on killing burbs, those thing are bad news for the gorge.

The ranch,,,also called Bringears ranch. It's about a mile south of the squaw hollow boat ramp on the east side of the gorge.

If you think the Burbot are eating a lot of Kokes, you should see what's in the stomach of a 28 lb Lake trout !! Every one will blame the decline in the Kokanee population on burbot, but Lake Trout are by far the main predator and consumer of Kokanee. Now you know I'm a card carrying member of the Mac Pack, and I would never kill any of the big guys, but I'm just saying..!!
P.S. I'm so sick of winter. You have no idea how much snow and cold we have had in Jackson. I need a little action on BFT so have at it boys !!!
