Cowboy reporting live from Rockport today. We have a group of 4. Fishing in 26 feet of water by the boat ramp. I'm using a pink rat finkee below a kastmaster tipped with a wax worm. I caught 1 rainbow so far just up off the bottom.

Switched up my jig. Put on an unpaited lead head jig with a pink gizzy bug below a silver kastmaster. Had a looker but not a taker.

What are the crowds like and is there any wind?
I may be taking my daughter up there this afternoon.

Crowds are not bad here by the boat ramp. There is wind for sure. Travis just caught a nice colored rainbow on a white ice cutr below a kastmaster tipped with waxworm. Ice is 7 hard.

That ice looks crystal clear and like there is no snow on it. How's the walking? Looks like it'd be pretty slick. Heck, if the ice is that nice, maybe you could skate out to your favorite spot!

The is clear and hard. It has some frost on top so walking was fine. Perfect ice conditions.

Try a white tube jig and mill worm about 10 ft off the bottom. Dont want to give to many details but we slayed them on Friday. Best day ice fishing ever. Total of 38 for the day. Eight nice keepers in brine as we speak.

The fishing has slowed down. Seeing some on the graphs put not getting much out of them. The wind is blowing.

How crowded was it today? I'm always hesitant to go up on a Saturday.

There were a lot of people there but they were spread out over the lake so it wasn't bad. We had plenty of room by the ramp where we were fishing.
