Fished East Canyon with the scouts and it appeared every other Utah angler today. Catching was extremely slow for us and the others fishing near us. Two parties said it was red hot last weekend but that is fishing.

I think it was maybe just a slow day all together today. My daughter and I caught fish but not the numbers I'm used to.

Sorry to hear that. Location may have been the problem. I caught over 40 with one fat (my first one) tiger. Everyone in our group caught at least 10. Not sure where you were, but the east side of the lake was tooooo crowded for us. Full details, with picts, forth coming.

It was pretty slow for us as well. We only caught a few, but some guys near us were slaughtering them with powerbait. I'm not sure if the location or the bait was the difference. It looked like all but a few were pretty small.

We parked at Taylor's Hollow and walked across to the other side. We were guided by a fellow BFT member who had done really well where we fished a week earlier. I also spoke to another angler there who had also done great a week earlier, but was struggling yesterday. We were in the right place, but unfortunately a week too late. With 10 scouts it wasn't possible to do any moving around to try other areas. Read your report and you had a great day.
