The Idaho Department of Fish and Game will host the spring Magic Valley Sportsmen's Fish Fry, Chips and Tips beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at the Jerome Regional Office, 324 South 417 East, Highway 93 Business Park.
"It will be a fun event," said Jerome Hansen, Fish and Game regional supervisor. "We are just trying to get everyone excited about the upcoming fishing season, enjoy some good food, and offer a few tips from the experts on different types of fishing opportunities around the region."
While people are eating fish, hushpuppies, fries and coleslaw, they can wander around the Fish and Game office building and talk with the experts on the different types of fishing from around the region.
Fish and Game staff and other Magic Valley anglers will be offer visitors tips on crappie, bass, trout, salmon, steelhead and sturgeon fishing.
