There are fish there. I promise[Wink]. I will admit though, the usual spots have been slower this season than last. There are fish at the pumphouse but it is hit and miss and most likely you will get small fish. There are fish in the harbors but again, very slow. Lincoln Beach and other spots have fish but you gotta work for them and be willing to move. Don't give up yet.

Haven't caught anything for at least a month out there haha. Well I quit fishing it 3 weeks ago. Maybe once or twice more if bored, but no big plans for it till the walleye run. Not going to bother with white bass till May. Why bother if I can't land at least 100 white bass an hour haha. Lol I get bored easily, no bites in 5 min, I'm getting impatient. No bites in 10 min I'm almost done. No bites in 30 minutes I'm not going there again for a long time. No bites on a water in one hour and I will never fish it for years again. LOL, I'm exaggerating of course hahaha.

I'm with you lostbobber! I've almost come to the point where I only want to fish that lake in July. You can't fail when the weather holds constant in July, other summer months are good, but don't seem to produce like July. And like others have said (which I believe as well) that the barometric pressure plays a big part in that shallow lake! Go right before a storm!

We lucked in to a Walleye down there a week or so ago. Wanted to take my oldest fishing and since it's close we decided to go there. We started off with no bite's for an hour or so, ended up moving around quite a bit and found about nine feet of water and eventually a willing walleye. We were over on the Lincoln beach side, in about nine feet of water. Caught him on a chartruese ice fly [Smile] I know what you mean though. We were starting to think it was time to go home after sitting there for so long with out as much as a nibble. I've never gotten into a school of them on the ice.
