I went to Knight Hollow and only fished for about an hour. The wind was so strong that I had to keep the windows open in the ice house to keep from blowing away. My heater would not stay running, and it was too cold to stay for too long. I caught two rainbows about 15" long and then got out of there. I was fishing in about 50' of water, the trout were suspended at about 15' - 20'.
Also, don't forget cleats for your boots. There is no snow on the ice, and it is very slick.

Thanks for the report. Just curious how the road was getting back there, and down to the campground. Last year i attempted it and got stuck in deep snow. Had to access saleratus from the main boat ramp via 4 wheeler.

The road was clear but wet. 2wd should be able to make it down the hill. But around the campground is still covered with snow.
