Post edited; I do that all the time[blush] Maghunter keep in mind this is from a small hand held weigher, but I had it right at 6lb. MMDON I will probably go back one more time I am looking for a big perch and I am using your curtain method you mentioned a few weeks ago. On another note someone left a very nice whitefish on the ice; I hope by mstake. I hope I dont get sick when I eat it[shocked] I think it is a good place to target big fish; I just don't thnk you will be sprinting to pole after pole.

If you are looking for a big perch you need to set aside some time to go to Cascade. The perch there are un-believable.

Very nice fish. I don't doubt the 6lb claim on it either. The rainbow I posted last year from that pond was 24" and had a 15" girth and it weighed at 6 lb 15 oz on a digital scale. That pond definitely has some bigguns in there. I have yet to see a perch pulled from it but I've heard a few rumors that some are in there.

I've had 30 to 40 perch days out of that pond. Remember, perch are cyclical. Still, I know there are perch in there. I had a buddy that pulled 10 from there a week ago. The bite is in the first hour of daylight. You have to be in the perch highways and your rods have to have motion. Some of the people I fish with use electronic jigging devices to keep the attractor motion going at all times.
