looking for a spot to fish in montana!!!

hello!! I'm heading to anaconda montana here come tuesday, and am looking to do some fishing if at all possible.. Any tips on where to go close to butte anaconda area?? I was told that the big hole is next to this area but not exactly sure on where it is!! So any info will be much apreciated... Thanks in advance..

Not sure if its even open and/or not frozen, but the upper Clark Fork starts right there, flowing out of the "settling" ponds on the north side of the interstate. Its kinda like a spring creek. It's really a tailwater, from the ponds. Check the regs.

Just take the Anaconda exit, and go the other way for a few hundred yards! It used to be a "must hit" stop for me when I bummed around that area in the summers.
