The flows are more manageable near wanship\coalville I hit it on Saturday fishing was pretty good only downside is lots if ignorant people there. Had one guy tailgate me and almost run me off the road .[mad][crazy]

I have found giving the peace sign will either diffuse the situation, or cause the perp to go ballistic....

I agree due to the crowds I rarely fish on Saturdays any more but with the weather been trying to take advantage of any sun shine we get.

In a Standard Examiner article Tage Flint indicated they are doing the calculation on a weekly basis. That suggests they are not on a fixed schedule. Here is the link for the Echo guage:

Today it is measuring 350 cfs. Median for this time of year is about 75 cfs, although since they worked on the dam it is closer to zero.

Yeah, I'm aware of the link and that's why I ain't fishing there. It's been high for quit some time now.

This last storm is really high water content Sierra Cement. I'll bet in the 8" I got there is well over 1/2" of water. Perhaps closer to 1". The storms for Thursday-Saturday are coming out of California which means more high denisity stuff. Randy Julander says the soil is saturated so when the snowpack begins to melt it will all go to the reservoirs. We could be looking at them dumping clear through March.

You likely will be right. Drove to Kamas yesterday and the Coalville to Rockport stretch looked high but fishable.
