Weird day on the hard deck. Spent the day until noon picking off singles. Never saw a group of fish the whole morning . . .

Were the singles the bigger year class? We got into the small ones again at Palies, but it wasn't easy.

Yeah, they were all three year old fish but this is the first time this season I haven't seen them schooled. I wonder if it was the storm front that had them swimming around by themselves?

Two weeks ago the bigger fish came through in singles. The only large school we saw were small fish in the 6 to 8 inch range.
