Spent this afternoon at Utah Lake and caught this big channel cat. It took a minnow on the bottom and weighed in at 6.1 pounds. It was released for Tube Dude to catch later. Nice to be on open water again.

They're sure nice and "clean" this time of year...give 'em about a month and they'll be wounded up some. By your GPS track, that is about what I do leaving out of AF harbor. Unless it's later in the summer, then park the boat in the rocks (or as close as possible) and catch big'uns all day and night, as they move thru. There's allota rocks now at UL. Seems in the last 10 yrs or so all the harbors have added rocks. I need to get down there more OFTEN!!
