Braved the storms yesterday and got a few crappie and some nice trout. The trout were all between 12" and 14", except for this fine 20-incher. The crappies were all around 12". All released, except for one smaller trout I gave to the person who helped me net it.

Actually, I caught the trout and the crappie on the same lure... An orange Stinger Shad. The hook fell out of the trout's mouth almost as soon as he hit the net.

No kidding. I'll take some pictures of the spillway side next time I go out there. It's just crazy with two gates wide open. I can't imagine what it would look like with all the gates open.
