white bass

the kids want to fish for somthing other than trout. thinking of hitting utah lake for bass but never have fished for white bass any help on a line set up would be great. what works the best?

Small jigs. Cast and retrieve. I was using a white with blue sparkle today and knocked em dead. I also saw some chartreuse with red getting them too. You can also put them about 1 foot below a bobber and slowly retrieve them.
