Yee haw, hook 'em and cook 'em on the Provo!!!!
#1
Gee whiz, now Lavonda Mae, Cletus junior and I can catch fish the usual way on the Provo! Usn's can use crawlers, aigs, and that manna from heaven, Power Bate! Now them fancy folk in their Bimmers can watch as we snag us some fine fish to fry!

Just kidding. I know DWR is working hard for our present and future fishing in Utah but sometimes I wonder what we may hear next. Catch and release is the only way to go, slot limits on all lakes, ice fishing is decreasing fishing productivity (I made that one up.) Let's leave each area of the state a little better than we found it and just practice common sense!

I agree, speaking with the "elitist" fly fisher persons, there biggest concern is garbage and habitat destruction with more people being able to access the mid provo. I agree just pick up after yourselves!!!

While on the subject, I know alot of fishing and conservation organizations here in the state do service projects. I was wondering if BFT has ever considered, or would be up to giving something back. i.e. structure projects for Yuba things like that???

That's a great idea!!! I would definitely be willing to help out as long as it wasn't while I was at work or in class. It would be a great way to get some "advertising" for BFT as well. A great way to give back.

There are some states that have an "Adopt-a-stream" program. Maybe we, BFT folks, could check it out. Group activities are a lot of fun - ice fishing included. It's like mentioning it at church or work, though; you thought of it so you are in charge of it![Wink]

I was talking from a report of the standard examier who said it is only going to be a short 2 mile stretch along the provo dose anyone know where that stretch will be yet. How do you think it'll all go over
