Started the trip to Jordanelle, was met by a nasty storm. Then went to Rockport with similar crazy weather. Took a nice drive to Deercreek and found calm water, but left with limited time. Managed this Fat bow and a bunch of Dink Smallmouths. ( Must be some major stunting going on) All in all a fun day out. Caught the Rainbow on a silver kastmaster & the smallies on senkos. Nice to finally get my new boat out ![inline rainbow.jpg]

Wow that Rainbow is more like a football. Back in the day we caught Smallmouths and Rainbows at Island Beach. I night fished Deer Creek (Sailboat and Rainbow Bay) for a couple of nights this year and had plenty of fish take the bait...but got none to shore. I am hoping to get up to Deer Creek later this week on my pontoon....probley Charelston Beach. Thanks for the report.

Thanks !! Im excited about it. Its a 94 so its a bit older but in good shape. I get excited everytime I look at it haha !!
