Hit the Henry's Fork yesterday with a group of friends. Apparently most of Fremont county did as well. It was a beautiful day. Occasional wind, blue sky, no clouds. Fishing was great, the catching not so much. for 4 of us fishing only 3 were landed. 2 whitefish and a minnow of a rainbow. we had 3 others on briefly but they threw hooks as soon as we were aware of them. All the landed fish were caught on copper johns. It was actually one of the slowest days I've ever had on that stretch. I suspect it may be d/t all the pressure that river is getting this year with the S. Fork being flooded. I included a pic of my whitefish (you can barely tell what it is). I'm still figuring out lighting angles and distances with this camera.
