Got to willard with my wifey @ 6 and headed to the north dike, saw some shadlets jumping and right off the bat saw a small boil, thought things were gonna be good! WRONG
Long story short , 1 wiper no real boils, but did see a bunch of big micro wiper boils, when i say micro wiper i mean 3 to 8 inch wipers smashing shad. I was able to pull one 20 incher out as well as a 4 incher that was smaller than my lure. Utcatman put on a "bassacre" slaying the micro wipers, man did he catch a lot, i bet his arm was sore.

Not only are there no big browns in the weber or any muskies in the view, but now you kids have confirmed there are only small wipers in willard.
Big change since your post a week ago with your killer night. That cold front seems to have put a damper on the bigger longer boils.

Nice pic of the catman. I hope the twins will appreciate it. Just goes to show he is like the rest of us and will not be on ESPN Saturday morning.

[left]So I'm-a guessing that's what the "fingerling planters" have gotten to be? Hey - at least we know they're in there and thriving. Pretty bold of hit to take on a lure his own size.
[center]What's dat widdle fish thinnin'?

But by the time you've harvested - what 18 of them lil buggers - it'd be like a stack of white bass filets, no?

its comments like these that make you wonder why a vast populace of an online forum dislike you. you continually harp the fact that the world is against you and no one will cut you a break yet you post this? no wonder damn near every post you make turns into a flamming war. i can understand one maybe two posts where someone would come on and try to call you out you foam at the mouth a little and get carried away with the words you type on a forum trying to defend yourself. but when you come into a thread and blatantly out someone for nothing more then your amusment you have contributed nothing. up until now i have kept my mouth shut because everyone is their own person, and by default deserves a little shred of respect simply because they are human beings. that little shred has gone out of the window for you. i now classify you as a virus. seek life elsewhere.
UTCatman and Wildcat. sorry to bail so early i had to pack from my trip and some how sleep. UTCatman said it best when we met up, I can sleep when hell freezes over and when it does you guys can ice fish there. saw two micro boils, had a decent wiper chase a few shade feet from my boat but nothing for me, completely blanked, oh well. once i get back its river time unless the temps hold!

we agree on 1 thing! fish are fun to catch, the bigger wipers werent boiling but their small ones were so we caught what was feeding. Maybe during our bassacre we could have salvaged half a lb of meat.
