Life is good.
Yesterday at lunchtime, I went to the parking lot, got my rod and walked out behind my office. There I found a few willing browns ready to take my spinner. No size of any consequence, maybe 11 inches on the biggest of three, but it was a rewarding 30 minutes and a nice highlight to the day.
Based on the pictures, I may need to learn to use the cell phone camera better too.

So the question is - did you fire up the grill in the parking lot and have a little tailgate grilling action!
Hey - we've got corn growing behind us. I could bring some of that!
Surprising where you can find trout finding their way to. Saw some in an irrigation ditch out by a local Walmart.

My daughter kept asking if I kept them, or suggesting that all combined might make a decent meal, but I sent them back for another round, maybe today after work.

Ha, reminds me of the movie Office Space. "Can you make me think I have been fishing all day or something?"
Well live it up bro, fishing on the luch break is an awesome experience indeed! Tailgate cookout in the parking lot sounds pretty cool for a lunch break too. Luckily you are close to that river, have fun out there livin the dream for us!

Brownies for lunch....very cool. You know your a fisherman when you start fishing instead of taking your lunch break. Priorities right? Considering my job is outdoors I am gonna have to try that sooner or later...too bad all there is around my workplace is the Jordan River (no brownies there[frown]). Thanks for the pictures...never get tired of seeing brown trout on the end of a hook. Thanks for your post too.
