New to the site, not so new to the game.

Hello there, well here I am, joining yet another forum. Although fishing, being one of my passions, it only seemed appropriate.

Plus I'm sure I can find plenty of information about expanding my targeted species.

I usually fish for Spanish Mackerel/ Bluefish off the pier because I don't have a boat, don't have a surf rod and it's only $5 to fish. I wanted to do my part in taking some snakeheads out of the rivers in Virginia (home state) but I never got the chance to do that before I left. Oh yeah, did I mention I'm in Afghanistan right now? I tell you what we got 2/3 of a first class beach out here, tons of sun and tons of sand. I'm definitely a the wildlife conservation type. I believe that if the experts are setting the limits, following them is the best way to ensure the ability to take my future children/grandchildren fishing. (Not to mention the the cost of a ticket! $150 for a single undersize fish in NC, it's a good deterrent)

I am in a place where there are no bodies of water, and I don't go out into town anyway. At the moment I'm sorting mail for the next 90 days in response to the threefold increase in mail during the holidays. I also couldn't view the video.
