deer creek on fire

As a common by deer creek, i would to give a warning to all those who are thinking about fishing at deer creek. As you all know there is a fire and it is right on the shoreline now. The smoke is pretty bad and an extended visit could be bad for you health. Just so you all know.

yeah great prescribed burn. as always good intentions yet we dont know how to well and let things alone sometimes. this could be quite damaging to the provo and deer creek with the ash and erosion that will come from this fire.

I read on the DWR fishing report web page that Deer Creek was recently stocked with 30000 1-2 lb trout. With all the fire fighting aircraft scooping water out of Deer Creek, I wonder how much fish, especially trout, is getting caught in the bucket and meeting an untimely death. I live in Orem and I tell you my house and everything else smell like smoke, even the garage that I keep closed up all the time. I hope they gain control of this fire real soon. Kudos to the firefighters fighting this blaze.

the fire is out, hurray. here in heber, our houses filled with smoke in the night, and in the morning w all smelled like it.
