Lincoln beach 9/27

Fished lincoln and the white bass bite was on! My 8 year old daughter convinced me to wade out about about 200 feet out! [crazy] I wasnt prepared for that but oh well if she could jump in with her clothes so could i! [unimpressed] We fished with a bobber and a worm with a 3 ft. leader and caught white bass . Did not have a net though which made it interesting trying to grab fish while it swam between your legs! Interesting experience never done anything like that before! Also caught w.b. with perch meat .Catfish were biting too on perch meat. Tried jigging with black/chartreuse jig but the w.b. woulb keep biting the tail of my jigs off! Me and my daughter had a great time my son and my dog decided to fish from shore they were both too chicken to come in the water! Only bad thing was i had to keep going to shore to put the fish away and just as i got back were my daughter was she was bringing in another fish ! Next time i will have to find some way to keep the fish in something so i dont have to go back to shore each time.Did not charge the batteries in my d.camera so i could only take 1 pic!

Nice report! Glad to hear you got into some white bass. About how many did you catch and what size? I got the solution to your problem of where to keep your fish. Go over to Wallmart and in the fishing department the have a floating fish basket which is made out of wire and is collapsable. I use this on my tube and works great. The price is also right about 7 bucks.
