Stood on a dock, kicked a hole in the ice and caught white bass as fast as I could unhook them. Filled a five gallon bucket in 20 minutes. I caught a bunch of chuncky bluegill as well. Great times. It will hold me over until the gorge freezes up down to the confluence.

Beware of rthe pumhouse it is not safe. A guy we were fishing with today fell through the ice.
