I try to save money and make my own gear and tackel. Any ideas?
when i find a usb i will post a few of them.
i have made ice bars a tip ups.

I'll ping you a document you might find interesting. Haven't got to 'pouring my own' yet - but that may come in time.
Meanwhile - found some ice-jigs on Ebay - like $10 for 50 - plus a couple bux shipping. I have some cheap nailpolish from a dollar store, and bought some glow-in-the-dark paint. So between some color, glitter, and a touch of glow - I've now got rainbows of ice-jigs.
Also been dabling with [url "http://www.bigfishtackle.com/forum/Utah_Fishing_Forum_C55/Utah_Fishing_General_F58/gforum.cgi?post=703626;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;page=unread#unread"]Bottle-Cap lures[/url]. Funky, but fun. Still TBD if they'll actually catch fish!!! Combo of spinners, caps, and a bit of fluff.

dont forget the glow in the dark nail polish.
try a hoby shop, kids makeup or halloween close outs.
there are two kinds of glow in the dark nail polish, clear and white, both work well, the clear can be applied over other colors of nail polish. [:p]
home maid ice fishing gear is the best, even if it dont work, the best part about them is the time you spent not sitting in front of the boob tube.
